A sunrise session filled with bright colors, laughter, and love

Two days before their Disney’s Animal Kingdom vow renewal, we met at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge just before sunrise. The lobby lanterns were still glowing, the sky was painted lavender and peach, and Gigi and Robert showed up ready to have fun and celebrate their story.

The look: regal African elegance

Gigi stunned in a rich, ember-orange gown with beaded motifs and a fitted, corseted bodice, paired with sheer embellished sleeves. She completed the look with a dramatic matching gele headwrap and gold jewelry. Robert balanced her fire with crisp sophistication: a white double-breasted suit, orange bow tie and pocket square, an embroidered cap in coordinating orange, and cognac shoes. The palette sang against Animal Kingdom Lodge’s sculpted, nature-inspired columns and polished wood floors—warm earth tones meeting sunrise light.

After portraits among the lodge’s art and ironwork, we continued at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The clean lines, reflective walkways, and resort architecture gave us a sleek contrast to AKL’s organic textures. Together, the two locations created a gallery that feels both editorial and joyfully candid—exactly like Gigi and Robert.
